As an author, you retain the rights of use for the e-version of your contributions and do not give them to the RAM-Verlag publishing house.
The RAM-Verlag only receives a simple right of use for the publication and provision of your contributions.
You give your permission to put the e-version of your books open acces and to submit them to the databases (e.g. WoS, SCOPUS, CNKI etc.) in order to be indexed there and to crossref for DOI announcement.
After sending to the databases, the databases themselves assess the level of publications and consider including the publications in the databases.
This evaluation process of one volume by the database (WoS) itself can take longer, which depends on the implementation processes of the databases – although our book series has been accepted for submissions – each individual book (volume) in the series is evaluated separately and there is always a very large number of books waiting to be evaluated.
This evaluation process for a book series differs from the evaluation process for a journal at WoS. Once a journal has been accepted for submission to WoS, each issue of the journal is automatically indexed in the WoS database.
